Dia de la Mujer – Call for works
EXHIBITION THEME: “Play to Create”
Participating artists are expected to explore the theme in their submitted work. Artists are invited to in a visual format (painting, photograph, sculpture, video) explore all creative acts; composition, writing, painting, theater, dance etc.
PLAY – the starting place of creativity. The theme offers the artists the opportunity to explore the many ways in which we all choose to PLAY and create!
The Dia de la Mujer Exhibition strives to be a safe space for women artists, to celebrate ourselves through art without fear and in our full glory. We hope that in creating artwork for this exhibition, participating artists find a unique process of PLAYING and creating
