La Semilla Community Resiliency Center (CRC) is Casa Familiar’s vibrant new community hub in San Ysidro — a welcoming place built to boost climate action, job opportunities, and cultural connection.

Now we’re excited to launch a zero‑emission electric shuttle to make getting around easier, greener, and more connected for our neighborhood.

San Ysidro faces several challenges that impact community mobility, including limited parking, the high cost of vehicle ownership, and the pollution generated by cars. This shuttle provides an opportunity to explore alternatives that address these issues. We want this shuttle to be for you — so please share your voice!

  1. Tell Us Where to Stop: Drop a pin on our map with your suggested shuttle stop locations. Instructions are at the bottom of the map.

  2. Take the Community Shuttle Survey: Share what features, schedules, and routes matter most to you. Your feedback will shape the shuttle program.

Instructions

1. Review the San Ysidro community map and determine where you would like the shuttle to stop.

2. Click the blue “add stop” button on the lower left corner of the map.

3. Zoom to the area of interest and click on the road where you are interested in the shuttle stopping.

4. After the purple marker is placed, add any comments about this area that you’d like us to be aware of. Comments will be visible only to La Semilla staff.

5. Then hit submit. Your suggested shuttle stop is now included on the map as a purple diamond shape!

1. Review the map for existing purple markers that have been placed by other users.

2. If you find a purple marker that you agree with or disagree with, you can provide a thumbs up or thumbs down.

3. You can provide this feedback in two ways:

a. Either click on the road name on the left-hand side of the screen and provide a thumbs up or thumbs down

OR

b. Click on the purple marker itself and provide a thumbs up or thumbs down.

Note: The base map can be changed by clicking on the map in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.
